Migration

We were born to walk.

Evolved to be upright,

Bipedal.

Glutenous maximus a muscle tool,

Not a surgical enhancement.

And so, we walked.

Out of Africa.

Over the savannahs.

Over the mountains.

Through the forests.

Across the oceans.

On and on,

moving like ants,

determined to make a home.

Somewhere else.

Somewhere new.

Somewhere better.

Somewhere easier.

The earths riches laid out on display.

And oh, what a display.

There was plenty to go around,

for every creature, animal, bird alike.

in reciprocity and respect,

care and sharing

and gratitude.

And yet, here we are now.

Fighting over what is left.

We were born to walk.

Better to learn to crawl again.
